Hunt Club is an executive recruiting firm powered by data, tech, and networks— connecting businesses with top-tier leadership talent outside of their normal reach.

Overview

As part of Hunt Club’s 10-person marketing team, I played a key role in the design and execution of the company’s redesigned website as part of a full-scale brand refresh. Working under a Creative Director and in close collaboration with a four-person HubSpot engineering agency, I helped translate the newly defined brand into a modern, scalable digital experience over a six-month engagement.

Problem

Hunt Club’s legacy website no longer reflected the company’s evolved positioning or its people-first, relationship-driven recruiting model. The experience leaned heavily into cold, tech-forward visuals that felt disconnected from the warmth and trust central to the Hunt Club brand. In addition, the site needed to clearly serve two distinct audiences—companies hiring executive talent and candidates exploring new opportunities—without fragmenting the brand narrative. The challenge was to build a website that felt human, credible, and premium while remaining flexible enough to scale with the business.

Solution

I helped design a reimagined web experience grounded in Hunt Club’s new brand direction—warm, modern, and approachable—while maintaining clarity and conversion focus. This included implementing updated typography, color systems, and symbolic brand elements throughout core page templates and components. Working closely with the Creative Director, I designed high-fidelity layouts that balance storytelling with usability, developed a scalable visual system for HubSpot modules, and partnered with the engineering agency to ensure accurate implementation and responsive behavior across devices. To support consistency at scale, I curated an extensive on-brand image library and created custom iconography to reinforce product, feature, and service messaging. The result is a cohesive, flexible website that reflects Hunt Club’s human-centered approach and supports long-term growth.

Challenges and Design Solutions

1. Translating a New Brand into a Digital System

Collaborated with the marketing team to establish a cohesive digital expression of the brand, designing icons, sourcing imagery, and defining visual patterns that scale across page types.

2. Building a Modular, Scalable HubSpot Website

Partnered closely with the HubSpot agency to design and implement a modular component system that enables the internal team to build, adapt, and expand pages efficiently.

3. Maintaining Consistency Across a Large Build

Created detailed templates and visual guidelines to ensure consistency in typography, spacing, iconography, and imagery across a 30+ page website with multiple contributors.
